The CCAB Agro is a Brazilian company formed by farmers, in a business management model, which offers technology in generic and biological phytosanitary products. In December 2016, it became part of a global platform, with the entry of the French group InVivo, also formed by farmers’ cooperatives. With the entry of InVivo, CCAB, which was already the largest alliance of cooperatives in Latin America, has also become the largest company for registration of generic crop protections in the country. Currently, its portfolio has about 110 products for various agricultural crops, in different stages of registration.
One of the great differentials of the CCAB is the alignment between the objectives of the company and its consumers. This is because it is a company in which the shareholder is the consumer himself, which guides all its actions towards shared earnings. An example of this is the strategic direction of registration, production and marketing of products, defined by the rural producers themselves.
The CCAB has a lean business structure, which challenges the company to be efficient. The austerity in operating costs management is a company brand that always aims to provide quick responses to the demands of the producer.
