OUR HISTORY
The Brazilian Company of Agricultural Cooperatives, CCAB Agro, is a Brazilian company formed by farmers, in a business management model, that offers technology in generic and biological phytosanitary products for crop protection.
Created in 2006, as an initiative of a group of rural producers of the cerrado, who sought solutions to access a more varied range of crop protection products than had previously been available in Brazil, CCAB became the company with the largest crop protection program in the country. Its portfolio has about 110 products for various agricultural crops, in different stages of registration, with 24 orders already formulated.
In December 2016, it became part of a global cooperative platform, with the entry of the InVivo Group, a company which, like the CCAB, brings together virtually all rural producers' cooperatives in their country of origin, France. As a result, it has also become the largest cooperative alliance in Latin America. Currently, it is formed by 22 cooperatives that represent about 55 thousand producers, in the country.
Throughout its first 10 years, completed in 2017, the company operated, primarily, in the Brazilian cerrado, with business in eight units of the Federation. From 2018, it extended its presence to all the Brazilian states, becoming a company of national performance. Its products portfolio, previously exclusive to shareholders, was opened to the general market of farmers, cooperatives and dealers, thanks to the implementation of the Cropline platform.
